Tom is passionate about helping teenagers develop leadership skills. As a Boy Scouts leader for 10 years, he did two unique things — he organized and led 2 Scouting world record treks. His 2 sons are Eagle Scouts and his daughter loves outdoor adventures.
At Mount Vernon Presbyterian's high school, he along with his son, daughter, and other student leaders created a business & entrepreneurship program in 2010 involving weekly business speakers, field trips, and hundreds of students.
